Intercession

Intercession : this word has forefront-ed itself in my mind and buried itself deep in my heart. For years, I have craved people's trust in the Savior. Being a "fisher of men" is my heart. Yet years of judgmental Christianity has stopped "pious" words from releasing from my mouth. The relationship and not the dogma is what I long people to see in me. The passage to directing souls to the Savior starts through a life of intercession. The realization that rejection of Jesus comes so often through confusion and deception of who he is and yes, because of hardened hearts, gives me my direction on the wild battle path of intercession..

  1. Hi Bonnie,

I'm visiting from Passionate and Creative Homemaking. I replied to your comment but figured I'd visit here. I'm super excited you'll be joining the book reading! If I get a good response to it, I'm thinking of hosting more book readings. In the fall I want to start reading through the Laura Ingalls books (one a month). But nothing is set in stone.

    Anyways! lol

Thanks for visiting and possibly joining us in our book reading!

    God Bless!

  3. Hi Bonnie, I agree. I want my actions to speak louder than my words. I have been disappointed by Christians who say one thing and do another, but they are not perfect and so, like you, I look to Jesus as the only perfect example. Thanks so much for linking up at Mom's Library!
