My pastor's wife was sharing on Wednesday about this amazing, exciting opportunity through our church to foster/adopt children in our state. She spoke of how having a house full of children from various backgrounds will not be easy. But when one of her other "adopted" daughters was still at home and she was doing warfare for her daughter's soul until 5 in the morning, there was an EASE about it because the grace of Christ was was covering the whole situation.
Jesus says to us:
"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away
with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real
rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the
unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on
you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly." Matthew 11:28-30 (the Message)
